Ma & Pa Wood Flatcar

While only 35' long, this M&PA wood flatcar was a heavy-duty beast capable of handling 80,000 lbs. due to the six truss rods. Acquired in the early 1900's, they stayed on the line for many years.

Our model features laser-cut wood components where the real car used wood with hardware in plastic and lost-wax brass. A hidden steel weight brings the finished car weight to 3.8 ozs. Correct M&PA decals, not yet added to the model, are included. Less trucks (Ace archbar trucks shown) and couplers.
